North Cowichan scores federal funding for 3 fields
With an enthusiastic “What a day!” Tom Walker, the mayor of the District of North Cowichan, accepted Minister Yelich’s announcement of a RInC contribution to the District to fund the development of three sport fields. These fields can be used for a variety of sports, including soccer, lacrosse and field hockey. The $1 million investment will also go towards upgrading the surrounding amenities, including a new gravel parking lot. Read more
