Our Government is committed to creating jobs, growth and long-term prosperity in our communities,” said MP Clarke. “
By improving facilities such as this, we are helping to boost economic activity while providing a solid foundation for Creighton’s future growth.”
Federal funding will go towards renovations at the Sportex Arena in Creighton. Improvements include installing an energy efficient score clock, lighting and change room upgrades. These upgrades will reduce operating costs and enhance safety in the Sportex.
The Town of Creighton is fortunate to receive funding towards improvements at the Creighton Sportex,” said Creighton Mayor, Bruce Fidler. “
Opportunities such as these allow the town to make enhancements that will promote healthy lifestyles and active living, making a difference in our community. Recreation facilities play a vital part in the quality of life of communities as well as individuals.”
