WD Visibility Guidelines: Quick Reference
Introduction
The Government of Canada is committed to providing transparent information to Canadians about expenditures for its programs and services. Western Economic Diversification Canada (WD) shares the commitment to inform western Canadians where its services are located and to ensure transparency about expenditures.
This guideline provides direction for the use of WD identity in accordance with the Policy on Communications and Federal Identity, and outlines expectations for use of WD graphic identifiers and proper WD acknowledgement in the projects and activities that the Department funds. These include:
- WD's grants and contributions program(s);
- WD's partnership agreements with the four western provinces, municipalities and other partners; and
- The activities undertaken by partners in the Western Canada Business Service Network (WCBSN).
